Day One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Thirty

Hi Viewers,

I think that age is irrelevant to friendship as some of my most trusted and closest friends aren’t my age. Sometimes people see age as a barrier, but it is really just a number because those younger friends of mine couldn’t be more perfect friends. Tonight, two of my best friends were honored at our high school for how incredible they are. I’m so proud of them. I’m so proud that year after year, my school fosters outstanding leaders and wonderful people. Amidst their brilliance, they are beyond humble and compassionate. If I had been focused on our differing grades, though there is only a year between us, I would’ve missed the opportunity of a lifetime: being their friend.

XOXO. S.
