Today I went back to my high school and I can’t even explain how much it felt like home. I walked in and was greeted by all my favorite advisory kids and my friends in various grades and my amazing teacher friends. It was such a treat because so many people hate high school and I’m consistently reminded of how lucky I am to have loved it so much. It’s like those walls house the memories that shaped the person I am; like the lessons I’ve learned and the connections I made. In those classrooms, I met my best friends and the most admirable role models. I came into my own and learned new things I had never known about myself as well as others before. I think that Harriton gave me a chance to blossom in a way that I was unable to before it and has informed my life after it.
